Introducing our Newest Special Shape Balloon the
"Bouquet of Tulips"
This balloon was manufactured by Lindstrand Balloon UK and the balloon stand 46 meters high with the registration of G-TULP. The balloon has 24 tulips on top. 6 red, 6 white, 6 orange & 6 blue ones. The balloon would actually hold 1,230,010 Bouquet of Tulips. A Bouquet of Tulips the size of the balloon would consume almost 20 gallons of water per day and would need a vase 15 meters high and 7 meters diameter to stand in. Any bee hoping to get pollen from the Tulips would need to have at least 3.5 meters wingspan and have a useful payload of 25kg to lift the pollen. This balloon is ready now for scheduling balloon events for 2002 & 2003.
The "Bouquet of Tulips" balloon début was in Ottawa Canada for the Canadian Tulip Festival May 3, 2001.
